Forged under Brazilian sky by Iran, Battlewinter raised at the year of 2002 with pride and honor feelings.
Battlewinter's intent was to show the grandiose art and beauty of Pagan music. Battlewinter's Clan have the lyrical concept in it odes, the narrative of great sagas lived in ancient times where the honor of a warrior was defended by sword and axe, bring him the glory as blood...
Hardly influenced by Celtic Traditions, adding with Powerful Metal riffs. A mix of Celtic Spirit with Metal Melodies, this is what your must feel when listen Battlewinter Anthems.
At the year of 2003, Rafael was invited to join the band as guitar player. Rafael soon understand the main concept behind the band and give big contribution.
The two, guys so, started to search members to conclude the formation. Rodrigo was found and join as Drums.
At Dimmu Borgir's live presentation at São Paulo in the year of 2004. Iran find Osvaldo, a friend that had lost the contact for 2 years. Iran explain the concept of Battlewinter and Osvaldo at same time accept the invitation to join Battlewinter as Bass Player.
Nowadays the band are rehearsing and looking for new members to estabilished the formation and to release the new material.Have you performed in front of an audience?We didn't have this pleasure to play live, but we still waiting for this day.
We rehearsal every weekend and our music is evoluting too much, we hope play live soon...
