I play woodwinds; Recorder, Pennywhistle and Fife. I'm saving up for a low whistle. I am completely self taught and I ussually play by ear, though I can read sheet music if I feel like it.
I'm actually looking for a band to join, so if any of you hear something you like, feel free to contact me.
Band/artist history
I don't have much of a history. Soz mate.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I live in Kansas City; I don't really like it here much; it's a horrible place to date and an even worse place to do street gigs.
Your musical influences
Roger Whittaker, The Wooden Spoon, My friend Bradford... I love all music and I draw influence and ideas from just about everything I hear. My real bag is Irish Traditional. Even when I play a song that isn't Irish, it ends up sounds irish.
The Folks at the Chiff and Fipple (http://www.chiffandfipple.com/) are awesome, and have an awesome community. I'm known as Blackout Entertainment, there.
Also, Tony Higgen's Tin Whistle Tune page(http://tinwhistletunes.com/), which has taught me all kinds of awesome songs. (And you might even find a few things of mine there.)
Jazz inspires me. But I live in Kansas City, so...=)

Thanks for the tunes, I thought they were a perfect accompaniment to my video.

Hi yeah, I kind of forgot, and now it seems I´ve found another player who by far lives closer to me, but maybe if you have a suggestion for a tune to which you would like accompaniment, you could record it to a metronome and I´ll see what I can do...

Lovely whistle stuff. Thanks for varying each of the Foggy Dew verses.
That turned out nice, too bad about the hum/buzz in the recording, I think it comes from my side.
Could you cut off/edit out the footthumps? They sound so hollow and echoey with the reverb.
Nice working together with you!
Inge

Enjoyed listening to you. Thanks for sharing your music. Lisa P.S. - RE: Your Singing - You have the makings of a nice voice. My main suggestion to you is: Use your diaphragm. You'll have more control, a more solid sound, and the use of vibrato. ;)
