This is simply a slap bass playing over drums to show someone what the slap tone of my F-Bass BN5 sounds like.

Jazz Fusion

We aren't really a band, we are more of a bland, but we'll get there soon.
Band/artist history
In our history, we fought along Chief Katlian to rid Alaska of Russian fur traders, fought with Kastner's Cutthroats in World War II to rid the Alaskan Aleutian Islands of the Japanese, but when we lost the battle against the mosquitoes, we decided to stay indoors and form a band.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we play live. Although posthumous sales have worked out well for Elvis, we've found that for us, we are much better musicians when playing while living. I don't know, maybe it's an Alaskan thing. Speaking of Alaska, we are all from Alaska, but because of school we are currently in the desert of Utah, hence "Baked Alaskans."
Your musical influences
We have been really influenced by influenza, which wiped out entire villages in Alaska in the early 1900s and left the survivors with very high Kleenex bills... but the music that has influenced us has been very eclectic (as in very broad-based and diverse, not as in needs a surge protector), including Chick Corea, Dave Matthews, Damien Rice, Earth Wind and Fire, Milli Vanilli, and Bert and Ernie.
What equipment do you use?
Bose P.A.s, Demeter bass head, Accugroove bass cab, Fodera Yin Yang bass, F-Bass AC6 (Alain Caron's fretless bass), F-Bass BN6, F-Bass BN5, 1977 Fender Jazz bass, Pedulla Rapture J2 Bass, fretted and fretless Yamaha John Patitucci 6-string basses, Roland TD-20 electronic drums, Pearl acoustic drums, Ovation Al DiMeola acoustic guitar, Fender Stratocasters, Line6 Variax electric guitar, Roland and Carvin combos, Roland Fantom X8 workstation keyboard, Shure Beta 58A mics, and a Honda Ridgeline to haul it all around in!
Anything else?
Alaska is part of the United States, not Canada, and AK stands for Alaska, not Arkansas.
