Band/artist history
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, AYANDA has been singing and playing the piano since the age of eight. Her career started locally, under the direction of John Motley she sang with renowned artists Liza Minelli and Skitch Henderson, performed in Lincoln Center, South Street Seaport, Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden to name a few. She went on to study music theory at City College of New York and Audio Technology at Five Towns College. She has further carved her mark in the music world by collaborating and performing with artists/producers such as Clarence Penn, EJ Strickland, Boyd Jarvis, Groove A Tune Productions, ONE WORLD BEAT,Fully Fresh Records and many more. Currently AYANDA performs locally and regionally, bringing her unique style of music to the masses.
AYANDAs toughness of spirit allows her to go after what she wants with the grace, charm and confidence that no one can resist. Her dont take no attitude will insure her success in the industry and her broad range of experience marks her as todays well-rounded artist.
