Hi Marco,
stopped by and listened to your latest tunes and some older ones too. Awesome man! You should have another look into the Contrast Adjustment, that's a great seed for something, even bigger (if possible).
Take care,

[Van Halen cover band from 20+ years ago??]
Dude... are you *the same* Marco Piazza who played in a Van Halen cover band at a Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School "Battle of the Bands" wayyy back in the early '80s??!! (lol!!!!!)
Believe it or not- all these years later, I still recall your name (everyone raved about you and certain other guitarists back then) - AND I faintly recall that show.... your *singer* that night looked alot like EVH and his stage-antics were hilarious.... he was dancing around on stage, esp. when you guys played VH's 'Ice Cream Man' - hahahha!
And you were burning on 'Eruption', etc. that night :-)
Sorry if I "caught you off guard" with this message - I attended SPFHS back then & I have an incredible memory for certain things, lol!
:-) Anthony
PS - I saw you listed within Gaia's comments :-)

Marco,
Hope things are great. Listening to "Jerusalem", man you really have some skills, lots of passion, total control. Posted a few new smooth jazz tracks recently you might find amusing, getting mellow in my old age. (; Let me know what ya think. Also waiting to hear some of your new goodies, thanx for keeping touch.

Hey Marco - Hope you're doing great! Thanks for checking out "Sam's Town" - and the kind words... means a HECK of a lot coming from you! I'm listening to "Shred-o-Mania" again right now and I have to say again, that your style, technique and guitar playing in general is top notch - by ANY standard.
"Road to Nashville" was actually inspired by a couple of things besides my love of that style - one, Steve Trovato (I strongly suggest checking him out if you haven't already) and of course the kind of players that show up at the annual "Deke Dickerson Guitar Festival" in Anaheim during the NAMM show - pretty breathtaking stuff! But I am HUGELY into Steve Morse and Blues Saraceno right now.
I've not had a chance to do much on my guitar book lately but I am starting a series of clinics here in SoCal in a couple of weeks to promote the "Six String Dojo" guitar method and hopefully work something out with Ernie Ball in the process...
Anyway, shoot me an email - I'm still waiting to

Hi Marco, Are you *the* Marco Piazza of the 80's band NORTHSTAR? I have been looking for information on this band all over the net and come back with ZERO. Please if you would be so kind to write back if you read this, I am a big fan. Kindest regards, Kim Palmer
