Production is stellar. Great stuff. Im with you on this one. WHy they went to a private army in the US didnt they.... and why they lose now. Never was one in the 1st world war or the 2nd. Never was one in the Civil war. Never was one in the revolutionary one. THose were real causes Now they march to to the other drummer. WHy ROme lost too. History being repeated. Hopefully peace will reign.

Loved the lyrics on this, the music was as fine as ever but the political point is my highspot. Very timely track.

Mike, thank you SO much for listening to Aggressor UK.
Coming from a gentleman such as yourself, the praise cannot be any higher,no matter who's saying it.
It is fun to do,so much I don't have to think about...
40 tracks of everything,FX, and all the usual stuff that goes into making the solo material.
Aggressor is just 4 tracks, job done.
Thanks mate,it is VERY much appreicated.

What sparkling clean production, sparkly press rolls on the snares, and great guitars. Sounds like a million bucks!

FROM THE BARREL OF A GUN
I watched recently the film directed by Clint Eastwood, letters from Iwo Jima....
Somehow that came straight back to mind.
Where the Japanese soldier says something like...
"I was taught the americans were cowards, and yet they have shown great courage...
I was told that they were savages, yet the letters we have found on their soldiers from their homes, are just like the letters from our home....
I just don't want to die for nothing"
Cracking song Mike.
It reminds me just how much rock music in all it's variants has always been the voice of peace and reason.
It derserves no less than the 5 stars one can give.
Classic track.

Song: FROM THE BARREL OF A GUN
Outstanding. The point behing the lyric is right on the money and I've rarely heard it put so well or so intelligently in a song. And it's a great tune too - especially love the dual guitar work. Loved it!

Song: THE GOLDEN SUN (2012)
Having a song fixed in your brain since the '70s and then giving the production of it away after 30+ years to someone else is perhaps the hardest single act a songwriter can ever allow. Apparently, your trust in David's abilities proved to be correct. I'm sure I'll have more to say - for now - I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy an old song made new again.
Stephanie - can I just say simply that THIS is where you were meant to be.
Finally, Mike - it comes full circle in some ways - I hope it works out for you - you deserve it.
