We are Attack Toys, a 4 piece rock band from Liverpool. Kind of difficult to catergorise our sound but 'electronic rock/metal' covers it pretty well.
We've played various gigs around Liverpool and yeah, playing gigs is great. Some of our live songs differ in instrumentation and sound from the recorded versions, this is both a conscious decision to keep things interesting and to not limit the composistion of our songs to what 4 people can play on a stage
Our influences are quite diverse: Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Tool are probably the most prominent.
Our set up includes:
(Synths/Keyboards) Roland V-Synth/ Roland E-500/ Roland EM-50/ various fx pedals used on some.
(Guitars/Amps) Les Paul custom and Boss GT-6 DI'd and Epiphone guitar/Marshall JCM 900 as backup.
(bass)Ibenez/ ESP bass guitars and various fx pedals (mostly Boss)
