Astral Navigations produce chill out music, best listened to when either hung over, stoned, drifting between sleep and consciousness - or best of all, when in all three of these states of mind. If you understand what Kandinsky meant when he said one should be able to ’hear’ pictures and ’see’ sound, ie interchangeable sensations, Synaesthesia, then you will have a good idea of where Astral Navigations are coming from.

Band/artist history
Astral Navigations were formed in London in 2004 by Paul and Ben. Since forming they have DJ’d and performed live around London and the Home Counties at numerous clubs and events. Their live appearances feature Paul on Bass Guitar, Ben on Computers and a guest drummer.

Our main influences are Air, Royksopp and Matthew Devereux. Anything ambient, mixed with a bit of electronica.

Yamaha RM1X. Cubase. Guitars (Fender and Stag Bass). Laney Amps.
