A song about being hurt in relationships so much that it makes you bitter to the next person you get involved with.
Ashiz hails from a small town in North East Texas called Texarkana. The city is small but has big heart and also the twin city to Texarkana, Arkansas. Ashiz is definetly here to put Texarkana and the new league of females that go-hard on the map.
Starting in the late 90's Ashiz begain rapping as just a past time, sort of a stress relief from school and all the hardships of growing up in a city that just was not big enough for her smallest dreams. Ashiz later went on to take music a little bit more serious when in 2002 she packed up her bags and moved to Dallas,Tx to pursue the life of a full time rapper in the rap group G.o.C. (Gee'z on a come up). Many songs were made and the shows ranged from The Club Palladium (Texarkana,Tx), Club Tropics (Dallas,Tx) and a final show back home at the Oaklawn Opry. In Texarkana Ashiz was getting exhausted with the only single the group had put out that whole year. It became a frustrating life and soon after Ashiz was back in Texarkana looking for a way to pursue her own musical dreams.
With the help of a few old friends in the area and one new friend Ashiz found the strength to get past the failure of one label and create her own production company. Ganksta Girl Productions was what Ashiz focused on for the next year or so, making beats, doing graphics and most known for the '02 Spring Show held in Texarkana, Texas in March of 2002. The vision she had in mind was just to give someone a chance. Texarkana had formally been tagged the place where nobody knew how to act at parties and everyone had a talent but no one would help you before they helped themselves. So in order to give back to the community Ashiz had a local area concert for everyone and anyone with a c.d. who was not getting publicity to come and showcase their talent for free. Groups included: Reality Entertainment (Camden,Ar), B.W.P (T.k), Westkat(T.k), Most Envied(T.k), Sargent B, T.B.R and many more artist from the Four States area.
With the large publicity from that show Ashiz decided to take the music game up one more notch and packed up heading for the North for a year. After spending a couple of months in Michigan Ashiz networked with people from New York, California and Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee. Her music was finally out there for the public to hear and with a few shows and more than enough freestyle battles Ashiz took her music up yet another notch and after enrolling in fashion design school in Troy, Michigan she designed custom hand-painted alfits for the local rock group known as The Great 8.
The success from one idea to the nest is how Ashiz made it to where she is today. In the Spring of 2005 Ashiz started her own record label with the help of her music manager and came up with the Label Big St8 (State) Records. A year into the game Ashiz is still in the lab coming up with the hottest tracks to bring forth on her debut album on the label along with label mate Gangsta also from Texarkana, Tx. Ashiz has recently been featured on the debut album from local artist Joe Blak and on songs with singer/songwriter/rapper, Smoke G. of Ghetto Melodies.
Currently Ashiz has had performaces for Bad Boy South local talent search at Wright Patman Lake/ The Wild Coyote Club. The new single entited B.I.G. S.T.8 is coming soon to a radio near you , and be on the look out for the album entited "TX.US" on the Big St8 label. Also keep your eyes open for custom hand-painted Ashiz clothing and the album from Ashiz's protege Gangsta coming in 2007.Band/artist history
