Some people had mentioned that the guitars on the original mix sounded a bit dull and buried, so here is my attempt at fixing that problem.

So here's a clip with my new Ibanez RG2228. As I'm sure you can hear, I'm still working on my mixing abilities, and getting to know my way around Reaper a little better.
Dark Clouds On The Horizon Pt 1 (with bass) Dark Clouds On The Horizon Pt 1 (with bass)
I finally got my bass back and was able to add it to this song. I also started messing around with compression on the master track.

This was recorded with my new Agile Septor 8-string guitar, with it's stock passive pickups. I plan on using this in a two part song, once I add the bass and tweak a few things, so keep your eyes peeled for it in the near future!
Test Mix 3.1 Test Mix 3.1

Test Mix 3 Test Mix 3
Here is my second attempt at recording. I think I finally got the hang of drum programming this time. This was recorded in Reaper, using an Ibanez RG7420, with PodFarm, and Superior 2.0 was used for the drums, still no bass though.
Test Mix 1 Test Mix 1
First home recording, using an Ibanez RG7420, Podfarm for the guitars, and Superior 2.0 for the drums. No bass on this one.
