The Challenge The Challenge
And what a challenge it was! What started off as your 'everyday-lack-of-inspiration' for us producer guys, ended up something marvelous. Now, we have a club-banging, epic hybrid. Who would have thought?
Clutter Clutter
Just a little bit here and there. Eventually, it built up into a crunk track. I guess this would be a prime example of progressive?
All Mine All Mine
This probably fits neatly within the genre of Neo-Soul. The main melody is flanged, and is accented by some short riffs of guitar. We also topped it off with synthesizers during the chorus.
Symphonic Revolution Symphonic Revolution
Here's a nice mellow sample extracted from the song 'Symphonic Revolution' by Mandrill. Throughout the variations, the track is laced with smooth synths.
HyperBolic [Time Chamber] HyperBolic [Time Chamber]
Trying to create a 'different', original vibe. It's always good to take something and manifest a unique atmosphere with it. Melodic and unique.
Sweet and Sour Sauce Sweet and Sour Sauce
This one was quite fun doing. We mostly messed around with organic-sounding synths. And especially harnessed the triplet to the best of our ability.
Tsunami Tsunami
This one came together through the inspiration of someone very important to us. This is probably leaned more towards the R&B genre of music. Then again, you never know . . .
World of Oz World of Oz
This came from an unlikely candidate to sample. The song is called 'World of Oz' by Jackie. We enjoyed playing around with this one.
Templates [Loaded] Templates [Loaded]
This is a southern/crunk track. Something we whipped up by accident. Hopefully, you could understand the technique behind our madness.
Zoom [Getting Busy] Zoom [Getting Busy]
This one has a sample used from the song 'Zoom' by the Commodores. We flipped the sample three times. One for the verses, for the choruses, and a surprise ending.
Rok35 [Area 51] Rok35 [Area 51]
One of the more pop sounding tracks we've done. Probably a cross between electro and hip-hop.
