Ross Phase R1 demo with OD Ross Phase R1 demo with OD
Another demo of the Ross Phase R1 (MXR Phase 45 style pedal) phaser. I'm using a Gibson Les Paul Faded into a Box of Rock and out of a DRRI. The pedal and amp are EQ'd in favor of my hollowbody, so the recording is a bit on the bright side.

Test of a 1977 Ross Phase R1 with the knob set at 9, 12, and 3 o'clock. I recorded the guitar without using a strap. That contributed to, but isn't the sole cause of, the sloppy play...I definitely contributed to that.

I received an inquiry regarding the modulation effects on this little hard-to-program device. I chose two random modulations, nearly maxed them out, and ran with it. Aside from the tedious programming, the unit has some usable sounds.
