This song is.. groovy, funky, and also very mellow at it's different parts. Probably my best song bass-wise, and one of my better songs overall.

No Direction No Direction
The structure and overall sound of this song is very different from my other stuff. However, I got carried away and added a part that is really stupid, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.. the song is still one of my best though.

Underwater Song Underwater Song
This song completely changes feel at several points and still manages to flow quite well. However, it's way too long and dragged out.

Purple Purple
I wrote and recorded this song in about an hour. It has a cool intro with kind of a hip-hop beat, but the rest of the song is mediocre at best, and I'll probably never play it again.

Gemini Gemini
A dark, eerie, 1-minute song, and the only song here with a VOCAL TRACK!!! It uses the same chord progression as "Surfacing Scenery", so it could be used as in intro for that song.

Noise Noise
A vintage phaser pedal from the 60's combined with the most extreme effects I could generate from my other pedals helped create this 45-second song. One guitar track even came out sounding like an ensemble of horns. Listen!

Take Two Take Two
An upbeat catchy song. Mind the Gap does this, and you can hear the full band doing a much better job on our soundclick site.

Hindsight Hindsight
This song is extremely cheesy with some bad metal influences. It was the first one I wrote and recorded, and John always makes fun of me for it. However, there are a few cool parts, so it's worth a listen.

Room Full Of Windows Room Full Of Windows
One of the first songs I wrote. It's pretty mellow, and the recording quality is better than most of the other ones.

Surfacing Scenery Surfacing Scenery
A straight forward rock song with wah-guitar solos and chord progressions that really show my grunge-era influences.

In Retrospect In Retrospect
A simple, melodic song inspired by the style of the Chili Peppers song "Don't Forget Me". Mind the Gap does this song as well.

Catch the Red Raindrop Catch the Red Raindrop
A cool song with lots of rhythmic changes, and a spanish-style guitar breakdown.

Copycat Copycat
A fast, aggressive riff-rocker with a cool breakdown. Mind the Gap does this song. It's lots of fun and I love it.

From the Cold From the Cold
I believe this is currently my best song. It's pretty heavy, has some cool keyboard work, and also has a completely improvised mars volta-esque guitar solo.
