the thai khaen sound is created by blowing out & sucking air in through the instrument. it has a few keys that can be played. i was very fortunate to have recorded this piece. the instrument has since become unusable.

this song was originally composed for harp with assistance from harpist larry smith. the harp version of union has only been played live once; on a very rainy day, at my wedding. i made a few adjustments as i re-composed it as an ambient piece.
