Sore Thumb

Agreeable Incoherence Agreeable Incoherence
MY favorite beat ever, and my favoite lyrics ever. This is pretty much my best song now. I intend to do a better recording/mix eventually, but this version will work for now.

Thumbs Up, Hands Down Thumbs Up, Hands Down
My first song. It is about thumbs. Clever in parts, predictable rhyme scheme, beat not too original, but still an all-around fun tune.

Alpha Male Alpha Male
A song about dominant personalities. One of my favorite beats, and some of my best lyrics.

EN-THOOO-ZEE-AAAA-ZUM EN-THOOO-ZEE-AAAA-ZUM
One of my first beats, and borrows heavily from Fruity Loops 4's default instrument library. It is about making good music that you can personally get into. It is kind of a criticism of the Christian music industry.

Cyborgs Battling in Space Cyborgs Battling in Space
Catchy bassline and some humorous rhymes about cyborgs.

Your Book of Life Your Book of Life
A song about church people who are mean to each other and feel personally responsible for dispensing God's judgment. Good beat, lyrics feel rushed, but hey. It is one of my older songs.

Turn it Down Turn it Down
This beat has a cool catchy baseline, and some cool-weird moments. The lyrics are basically an inversion of conventional hip-hop lyrics; so they're a little clever in concept, but the rhymes get derivative in places. Also the recording was a little

Thoughts of Future Thoughts of Future
I really love this beat. It's all elevator music-ragtime-futuristic-laid-back-unconventional. The lyrics are all right. This song is more personal than most, and has a lot of Christian themes in it. JUST SO YOU KNOW.

I Rock the Small Stage I Rock the Small Stage
A description of most of the shows I've played. The recording is rushed, but the beat is awesome, and the lyrics are MOSTLY good. This one will probably sound a lot better if you hear it live, because when I recorded this I was basically reading it.

A Whole New Monster A Whole New Monster
Ragtime, barbershop and hip-hop unite in this koo-koo krazy song. Subject matter is fairly orthodox, though. Also my rhymes-in-groups-of-four got a little predictable and contrived, but still, you can dance to it.

Sockbag Sockbag
A weird, short song about a bag of old socks my family used to have.

Flashback to Never Flashback to Never
If you do not like Christian songs then this one is probably a song that you will not like. It is about rebellion against God, and being a dweeb in many ways.

Beating the Sun Beating the Sun
A tune about a time when I stayed up 'til 5 am working on a project. The beat is super catchy. The lyrics have inspired moments, and also contrived moments, but overall it's a good number. I like to finish live shows with it.

To Find Your Voice To Find Your Voice
This is a quick one about the experience of writing and producing one's own album. I like the simple beat, and the lyrics are pretty OK.

Shot Down Shot Down
This is a collaboration with the Liberalizer about being rejected by girls. Not that I get rejected by girls or anything... I now dislike most of this song, because I feel like it's too angsty and whiny. This is funk influenced, and the Liberalizer
