A bit of a "live" feel, meaning nothing is really on time, esp. my organ playing. Some potential, though, if that organ could be mixed down and someone was spitting some nice lyrics on top.

OK, this one is maybe 90% stolen. I just added the annoying parts. This was a song from a CD of music used in the films of Japanese director Akira Kurosawa.

I did this first with sampled violins from a Bach song (Giga Partita something something), then had a very talented young guy play it out for me - he busted this out on the spot.

The vocal sample is taken from the 60's version of Hercules. In the background, you can hear the drone of a koto. If you can't hear it, adjust your levels or something; that's the best part.

The astute among you may recognize that guitar droning in the background as belonging to a little band called Nirvana. Chanting monks, double-time tamborines, and 808 bass drums round out the mix.

I don't know - does this sound Japanese? There's some bhangra beats in the background. The stringed twang is Shamisen, but the melody and rhythm of it are more Indian sounding.
