Turned out somewhat similar to the keyboard hiphop stuff that I don't much care for but seems popular these days.

Twenty Twenty
A bit of a "live" feel, meaning nothing is really on time, esp. my organ playing. Some potential, though, if that organ could be mixed down and someone was spitting some nice lyrics on top.

I actually have a better version of this song sitting around somewhere. Never been able to replicate that bounce in the beat anywhere else.

She's actually saying "kiss", but I wanted to make it dirtier. Some more good shamisen for that ass.

They're all laughing at you. And the kick drum is out to destroy you. The "Perversion for Profit" guy is teaching you about sadists and masochists.

Sixteen Sixteen
This is my most experimental song, just going crazy with beat manipulation and mangling, a strange mosquito whine sound, and a melody on either the harp or the zither, can't recall.

Fifteen Fifteen
OK, this one is maybe 90% stolen. I just added the annoying parts. This was a song from a CD of music used in the films of Japanese director Akira Kurosawa.

Cheesy. The calliope was stolen from a CD of clown music. Notice the subtle screaming in the background. This is a song about going to work.

Eleven Eleven
I did this first with sampled violins from a Bach song (Giga Partita something something), then had a very talented young guy play it out for me - he busted this out on the spot.

The vocal sample is taken from the 60's version of Hercules. In the background, you can hear the drone of a koto. If you can't hear it, adjust your levels or something; that's the best part.

I love the strings... drums perhaps a bit too much. So James Bond. Make sure you listen in stereo.

Eight Eight
Very few blind people join the nudist colonies. Mostly just a background for some very funny statistics.

Hi hats floating up in the clouds. Kick drums shaking the ground. Piano for a rainy day. Sirens calling for you from the rocks.

One One
Shamisen sampled from God knows where. String section stolen from some old movie. Hard and slow beat. A great song to play when you're chasing down some vampires or something.

Is that an orchestra I hear? With a whining synthesizer? More video game material. Loud, otherworldly, dramatic.

Four Four
This is one of the more Japanese-sounding of the sampled shamisen pieces I have. A good song to get you amped up to do battle against the invading robot armies.

Three Three
The astute among you may recognize that guitar droning in the background as belonging to a little band called Nirvana. Chanting monks, double-time tamborines, and 808 bass drums round out the mix.

I don't know - does this sound Japanese? There's some bhangra beats in the background. The stringed twang is Shamisen, but the melody and rhythm of it are more Indian sounding.
