'The Obsidian String' started with a simple experiment: how much energy could I squeeze out of a single cello line? The result is a track that celebrates the tension between the old world and the new. It’s the sound of history running at 128 bpm.
"Bathysphere" explores the tension between isolation and discovery. It maps the journey of sinking into the unknown, where the pressure of the world outside is matched only by the deep, resonant silence found within the vessel.
"Found Me" was born out of those long stretches of life where you feel like you're shouting into a void. I wanted to capture the exact millisecond where the silence breaks that moment when someone finally hears you.
"5 Paths" is a sprawling, symphonic journey through the afterlife a narrative epic that follows five distinct characters through their personal trials of transition. Blending cinematic orchestral scores with a grand progressive rock arrangement.
This theme is a notable collaboration between Witkin, a pioneer in electronic music who utilized the Buchla synthesizer, and Trede, a master of orchestral library music - and Ward C Locke.
