Tracey Quake
I woke up and all the honey nut cheerios were gone. Went to class on an empty stomach and our professor assigned debate teams for an in class project. You got the wrong one today.
Driving along the coast of a green ocean contemplating in the shadow of a blue sun. Riding on the wild side with everything you've ever wanted in your possession while everything you ever needed waits on you at home; the curse of Nebuchadnezzar II
Classic Pop. Straight kick and beloved melodies. I really love the baseline and the double clap in the verse breakdown (see 1:04). Pop Timbaland-esque
Quite frankly, this beat is more crossover than hip-hop in regards to its musical structure, but i mixed it in favor to hip-hop over dub step to allow for transitions other than hard saws to take place (see 2:58). Make us remember what you say ;)
Tracey plays guitar and piano over subtle sub line and drum patterns. Ideal for a story....something deep yet classy. I'd love to hear a rapper with some real lyrics with a 1/4 cup of sarcasm to lighten the mood. An Eminem on a modern beat per say.
