Human Touch Human Touch

One or two samples from a mid-90s radio program discussing the future of something referred to as 'the Internet'. Bit of control-voltage action going on with the Juno-6.

Arabian Knights Arabian Knights

One of the last recordings I made, mid 90s. I was slowly coming to grips with the small 16-track studio I'd put together by this point. Loved the last addition to my rack: Novation Bass Station.

If I Were A Blacksmith (Or A Fairy) If I Were A Blacksmith (Or A Fairy)

Once likened to the sound of Mike Oldfield. I'll take that.

Graveyard Blues Graveyard Blues

A non-quantised composition (embedded in Cubase). I had to progressively shorten the length of some of the bars/measures as the song progressed in order to maintain good rhythm / timing.

Ragga Scot Ragga Scot

A bit of Mhairi's wedding with a wee ragga twist. Compositions circa 1990.

Sometimes I refer to this using stock-broking terminology: dead cat bounce. It's a cover of a song by Talking (INM).

Only A Dream Only A Dream

Reckon this drum pattern was largely a factory set one so credit to the dude who created it.

Chromaticus Chromaticus

This may spark images of Harry Potter but it was written and recorded in the early 1990s. One of its drivers was simply to use every note of the chromatic scale in the bass part which happens in a weird, key-changing sort of way.
