Written for solo, unaccompanied, euphonium. Entered into the Lieksa Brass Week composition competition in Finland. It is based on a scale with a period of two octaves.

String Quintet no. 1, movement 1. More to follow. This piece was premiered at the Pacific Northwest Composers Project. I will be having it played again soon and getting a good recording of it, but for now this will have to do.
