With work beginning on their debut CD (currently untitled), the Huey P's are at it again. Hey The Huey P's!
Ugly Disposition...Very cool rockin' tune!....Very tight musicianship! Vocals are powerful and go along with this rocking tune perfectly! Double bass and cymbals on the drums is done with a lot of integrity, as should any drummers that admire Neil Peart!
Guitar and bass interweave and just beg for third party air-guitar playing...In fact if I wasn't typing right now......
The tone and feel of this tune is addictiing, and the listener finds himself stomping his foot and bopping his head around in ways that might actually be damaging....Oh, what the heck.......
Cool song!
Rock On The Huey P's!

The rec quality here is pretty damn good and everything is well balanced.
The guitars have a really good tone and there is good use of space.
Nice and clear!!
The performance is tight and everyone is good at what they do, including the vocals, lots of projection but I'm not sure whats being said lyrically.
It appears that this is a more subtle approach to the oppisite sex than the last song I reviewed on this thread!!
But like I said, to each their own!
This is typical of this genre (Hard Rock) but with a retro feel ala Golden Earring!
Check it out if this is your cup of tea!!Contact
