JD Spoon is an acoustic guitar player. He plays Punk. He is angry at society, people and outer space.
Formerly from Dallas, Texas JD Spoon was a drummer who played in several bands. He has played every venue worth playing in Dallas more then a few times.
Bored and friendless after moving to Austin, he picked up a guitar, learned to play and thus was reborn.
Spoon has always written music however, he previously had a singer handy to sharpen the point of a project. Now he travels this road alone.
Pissed off and drunk, he shakes you to your knees with raw poetry, humor and an upbeat tempo that allows the ladies to dance, and the fellas to beat in each others faces.
