Experimental

Mike Maze is a brilliant newcomer to the music scene. A former radio DJ, Mike Maze has been creating his experimental brand of New Wave since the late Eighties when he recieved his first digital workstation for Christmas. Armed with his workstation, a karaoke machine, and the mic that came with it, Mike stockpiled an arsenal of songs that has spanned more than a decade in its making.
Band/artist history
Mike Maze has been creating his brand of experimental New Wave since the late Eighties. Mike signed to independant record label Lightspeed Productions in 1993. Lightspeed became Fullstop after the indie label folded shortly after signing Mike Maze and his label mate Mi5tergone. Mike Maze spent the greater part of the decade since creating music with Mi5tergone, as well as his band White Iron Moon, not to mention his solo material. Although Mike Maze's music might never see the light of day in a live environment, Mike intends to continue recording and releasing his music for those curious about this New Wave experimentalist. Currently Mike Maze is preparing to release his debut solo CD through Libradisc Music, which is Mi5tergone's indie label. This solo CD will become half of a split CD with a project tentatively called "Thin Black Tie", which is a New Wavish side project of Mike Maze and Mi5tergone. In the meantime, however, Mike intends to continue fronting White Iron Moon, performing wherever they can find ears.

What equipment do you use?
Mike uses a Roland XP 10 synthesizer, a Zoom drum machine, a Yamaha QY 10 sequencer, a Peavey PA system, not to mention a plethora of vintage portable synths.
