Fans say that Matthew combines the genius of Tangerine Dream, the expansiveness of Future Sounds of London and The Orb, staying true to the New Age innovations of Steve Roach, while creating music that is totally unique and fresh.
Matthew was born in the country suburbs of Boston and was raised with the New Age ethics of his parents ideals. He has just recently finished his third CD titled "Serenitity is Me" which features a creative mix of melodies, soundscapes and beautiful orchestrations composed on top of some of the most soothing structures heard.
Matthew has played music in Boston Clubs to outdoor new age festivals. He has performed all types of music from classical to punk rock, country to jazz throughout his time in Boston. He has accompanied crystal bowls to dijereedoo during free form improvisations on stage. Having studied jazz guitar in college has made him very versatile with his music.
In addition to his performing talennts, he also loves writing songs. He writes with a sense of melody first then develops the arrangements to the melody. He plays all the instruments and has arranged all of the songs on all of his CD's. He has actually written songs for all styles of music but has settled down to creating new age music that is designed specifically tohelp with massages, reiki, yoga and meditation.
Matthews' music is both energetic and relaxing. His music has many influences from jazz to indian ragas anc can be carefully listened to or used as background music for Yoga classes and meditations. Everyone who has heard the music in Massages has wanted to know where they can buy the music for themselves.

Matthew started playing the piano at five years old and soon began holding recitals. Learning how to play the guitar at thirteen and went to college for jazz guitar and has attended numerous workshops specific for furthering his musical education.
The music for his albums. "Now", "Matthew" and his latest "Serenity Is Me" was recorded in Naples Florida in Matthews' own home studio. In addition to writing all of the music, Matthew produced all of the songs. These instrumentals include piano, violin, cello, bass, guitar, nature sounds, indian flutes and the song "Mantra" has over twenty different drums. Matthew is not afraid to find new and exciting sounds to calm the souls of his listeners whether they are in a Massage, Yoga, Reiki class or driving down the highway. Matthews' music is fast becoming the main choice for any situation that calms the soul.
