Music will save the worldBand/artist history
In 1996 i was working on a dancetheatre piece about Gala & Dali, and Chris Heyens did the soundtrack. We were so enthousiastic about music that he invited me for a sessions. The two others were not very happy with the idea, till i stepped into the studio and grabbed the mike. Most of the very first 3 sessions is on 'Music will save the world'. Then we made a lot of music for dancepieces by Edge and Dansity, live or on tape.
And then the inevitable breakup after 7 intensive years. But who nows.
A band is the most intricate lovestory/relationships there can be.
And the best intimacy grows after years of musical celibacy of a certain band.
God Knows the Absence came together after 20 years and we had grown!Have you performed in front of an audience? We did and maybe will again. probably thanks to Soundclick.
Your musical influences
As Lucid Terror plays on the self-built String, an electronic bow with random element, making it human, it's hard to say. Afterwards i discovered mentality simularity with the Bauhaus singer, instrumental approach with Monolake. But in essence we make raptrance in a kind of musical safari, taking influences from modern opera, western and indian classical singing, rap, trance, spoken word etc. Listen and if you have any suggestions please leave a comment. What equipment do you use?
