Your musical influences
I love music that requires a solid rhythmic foundation, a steady pulse, a powerful groove. I also enjoy when an artist can add complexity and creativity to that base. My first influences were Cream, Iron Butterfly, Sly & The Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown Led Zeppelin and Blue Cheer. I later became enamored by The Who, Ten Years After and Deep Purple.What equipment do you use?
At the moment I primarily use Ludwig drums from the 1960s and a chrome Supraphonic snare drum, all with Remo heads and DW pedals. I have both Zildjian and Sabian cymbals. I use Vic Firth sticks.Anything else?
I'm a world renowned authority on mixed martial arts and have commentated on televised MMA broadcasts around the world. My nickname in that field is "The Fight Professor."
