Standard Issue is a group of musicians from the north metro area of Atlanta, formed in the Spring of 2001. Standard Issue is determined to sound like nothing before, without losing the basic idea that "Song is King". Blending as many genres as neccesary to meet this goal, there is no question:

Kevin,Johnathon,Mitchell,and Dharmand got together for the 1st time in January of 2001. the band decided to concentrate on Rock 'n' Roll and "Standard Issue" was formed. After playing a few local shows, the band decided to concentrate on their music. That was when Cory joined the mix and they began composing their blistering, all-original tunes with a no-frills approach and a "no image" aesthetic. After months in the basement recording, its time to play.Have you performed in front of an audience?We've had MANY special moments. We've played a lot of local clubs where we have a fun group of dedicated followers. The band has been in hibernation since October as we've been working on our 1st album. It seems that we keep wanting to add more songs. We think we're gonna stop at #14. And we're working on #11. Anyway, as long as there is a place to play, we'll come jam for ya'll.
