O.k. this is pretty weird,
I am the singer of an Australian (Sydney, N.S.W.) band with the same name "pattern interrupt". We have very similar influences, e.g. 311, incubus, the mars volta, chris cornell - to name a few.
Fortunately we sound completely different! Really dig your stuff though, thought you might want to hear ours as well. I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as coincidence in life so thought I should make contact.
Would like to try and turn this into a positive, hope you can see it in the same light.
Dont know if your planning on doing any international touring any time soon but we could definitely hook you up with some gigs if your up for a trip to OZ.
