The solo project of Pete Dannenfelser, Sarcastic Jim is a collection of tunes recorded in his basement studio (The ManCave). Pete plays all the instruments from bass (his primary instrument) to guitars to drums to keys. The Sarcastic Jim songs that aren't instrumental (Number Eight and Highly Average Man) feature former Free Bozo band mate, Sig Mueller on vocals.
Your musical influences
I like to think my main influences are RUSH, Yes, Genesis, Tool and the like, but in reality, I think my songs end up sounding a bit more like Collective Soul and other '90s alt bands.

Hey Pete, this tune has some real funk. I like it a lot, it's catchy and well polished.
Forgive my limited music vocabulary, but it's kind of hard to place. Something like a Jim Morrison, mommas and poppas mix. Nothing familiar comes to mind, really good, really unusual.
Jim this is an incredibly clean and flowing groove. Excellent work man.
