Growing up in a world of poetry, where the love for literature fueled his desire to educate himself, Prince Charming was someone who bore an amazing gift. This was a gift that would forever remain dormant until the age of fifteen. This was the age that his love for the sound of music, determination, strong will, faith, and knowledge all came together. His dream of becoming the most innovative hip hop artist had come to life.
His career started off within the group Capital Punishment in which “PHT” was initially the head of the operation. The group lasted two years, and upon their demise, left many questions of a “real future” in the industry still at hand. PHT continued to develop himself not just as an artist, but as a real song writer. In 2003, he caught his first real break by meeting his “soon to be” partner of six years and co-member to the group “DNP”. Together, PHT and Da Lemma performed, created music, and networked with many other artists. Little did PHT know this was the beginning of the exciting and successful careers for not just himself, but many of the people he would soon come to befriend. In 2006, and two albums later, PHT decided to pave his own way into the industry. While still maintaining all the bridges he had built for his career, he continued to conquer the many obstacles that had held him back and finally discovered his voice. Managed under Sky Ballin’ Entertainment, along with Ambassador Way Artist Rob V., Big Mike of the Geto Boys, Universal’s Corey Franks, G3 of Ambassador Way, and more to come, he is a part of a multi-talented network that defines swagger.
Now, one of the strongest and truly innovative artists in the industry today, Charming is a well sought after specimen. Having worked consistently with The Bad Boy Records artist and friend, Brian Angel, Tejano Group member of “Fama”, John Barraza, Ban Revi and Mike Keyz of Nando Y Solja Kingz, J. Real of K1, Ms. Re, Five Doza, Ambassador Way’s Rob V.
