Band/artist history
Steven A. Smith II b.k.a. *Sincere* or Stev-O was born on October 5, 1990 in Harvey, IL. Raised on the southside of Chicago, Steven always knew he was destined for great things. He attended Esmond Elementry until the age of 7 when he moved away from his long time neighborhood and lived in Markham, IL. Although he lived in Markham he still attended St. Helena of the Cross in the city, which is where he met his friend Rifaa (Fare Games). While Attending St. Helena Steven Joined the choir and fell in love with music. He also attained a liking for music as he hung out with his older cousin Cory (CT).
He sang in the choir for many years until he was forced to leave St. Helena where he attended John D. Shoop Academy for one year to graduate 8th grade once he moved back to his old nieghborhood. While attending Shoop he joined their small band but soon after quit due to complications. He was accepted to Morgan Park High School which is where he learned more passionately about music. After taking a beginners band course first semester, Steven learned to read and cite musical notes. He then went on to teach himself how to play the piano and many other instruments including the Drums, Trumpet, and Clarinet.
As he learned and taught himself more and more about the musical world his passion for it grew stronger. He also took a General Music and Choral class while attending Morgan Park and fell futher in love with music. After losing his Grandfather April of his sophomore year, everything went downhill and he began to act out. He turned to the streets for guidance since he no longer had anyone left to turn to. Even though Steven turned to the streets and participated in drugs, gangs, robberies, shooting and such, he never lost his interest in his music and singing. After a long and trying road, Steven finally graduated Morgan Park High School in June of 2008.
Shortly after graduated, he took off to Mississippi to take some time off from the city life and get his mind and thoughts together. Spending many nights listening to instrumentals and writing songs it was then that he knew what he had to do. While still in Mississippi he received a phone call from Mr. Fare Games asking Steven to sing on a song called Climax . He began to anticipate the day he flew back to the city. Only hours after returning to city life, Stevens dreams slightly shattered. Returning on July 30th at approx. 10pm, on July 31st at approx. 11:30pm his uncle was gunned and down in Gary, IN. The next morning he received another phone call stating that his cousin was drowned in a popular swimming pool after hours known as Ada Park in Chicago,IL.
Two weeks later Steven, Fare, And VICI walked into Fallen Angel Productions to record Climax and he was introduced to Mr. Gotti Stress. Although it was Stevens first time in the studio, Climax became and instant hit. Fare Games invited Steven to join the Top Guns and continue the create more hits The answer was YES. Steven began his own production company making beats and doin graphic design which was called Official Swagg Productions, but the name was soon after changed to Jungleboii ENT. He has continued to move forward in the music game by creating connects with people like Young Tech, Gotti Stress, Allegra, Lil Chris, Jackpot, Jaye Goode, and many others.
His strive for excellence is nowhere near over, in fact, it has jus begun..What equipment do you use?
