Memorial Music Page
August 22, 1982- October 30, 2008
This page is in honor of my fallen friend James "Jim" Kling aka Antekts who lost his battle to Muscular Dystrophy, but fought till his last breath. His life and his music have become an inspiration for those who knew Jim, and I hope to keep his legacy alive with the music he recorded, the lyrics he wrote, and the collaborations I was blessed enough to have with him.

James "Jimmy" Keith Kling
August 22, 1982- October 30, 2008
While he was not with us as long as everyone who knew him had hoped he would be, Jimmy was an inspiration to everyone of us regardless. Jimmy faced many obstacles throughout his short life time and overcame each of them one way or another. Jimmy was disgnosed with Muscular Dysrophy as a small child and while it did sometimes set him back physically he never let it set him back mentally or emotionally. Jimmy was very goal oriented and when he set his mind to the fact that he was going to accompish something he made sure he did. Jimmy attended high school at Norristown Area High School and then later at North Penn High School where he graduated in 2001. Jimmy was a member of the bowling team while he was in school, a sport which he loved to play. While school was not his forte, he did excell in teaching himself how to do virtually anything he wanted on a computer and made himself into a self-proclaimed musical artist. His main focus was in the hip-hop/rap genre which he became very talented at due to his own hard work. Jimmy also loved to play video games with his close friends and cousins. He was a fiend when it came to karoke games and left his friends and family in the dust when they attempted to compete with him.
Jimmy was a great friend to those who were fortunate enough to be blessed with his presence. No matter what kind of hardship Jimmy was facing he remained incredibly upbeat and positive keeping those around him just as postive in the process. That was just the kind of person Jimmy was, no matter what was happening to him, he made sure that not only he was going to be okay but that everyone around him was going to be okay as well. Because this was the way that Jimmy lived, those of us that he has left behind, must remember to live our lives the same. We must realize that we were never guarenteed to have Jimmy longer than we did, but that we must live our lives the way Jimmy did in order to best remember him and honor his memory.Have you performed in front of an audience? From Jim's own words:
"I plan on playin live, I'm tryin ta finish up this album first, otherwise what's the point of doin live performances if my fans can't get nothin to remember me by."
Sadly, he may have passed, but his music will live on forever.
