I finally get to play all the parts, and have the great good fortune to be able to help other people realize their musical aspirations as well.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have performed live and worked as a songwriter and guitar teacher. Currently I do studio work almost exclusively because it allows me the most room for artistic expression.
Your musical influences
I remember Chet Atkins and Dave Brubeck back when I was a kid. The Cream, Beatles, Stones, and Jefferson Airplane figured into things back in the day. Now I would describe my sound as Mark Knopfler meets Mark Isham.
What equipment do you use?
Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster, Takamine acoustic, Yamaha keys, Toca congas, various percussion, magic boxes, and computers, as well as Adobe Audition 3, Reason 4, and an EMU 1212M soundcard. Plus a couple dozen harmonicas, mics, and miles of cable.
