Rabbits In The Closet (New version)

The first song we ever wrote back in 2002. It's about somebody's difficulties in dealing with an infestation of rabbits. It is looking increasingly likely that this will become the theme tune to a new show on SkyOne in the UK.

Hardcore Punk Rock
May Contain Nuts are a 5 piece punk rock band from Cardiff, UK. We have recently been recording new tracks towards a future album and been playing a fuck load of gigs.
Band/artist history
Back in January 2000 + 2 a drummer (Nurse) and Dave wanted to start a band. Dave said he knew "A guy who wanted to play bass" and some guy who could rap and so pressumably could also sing (this was Sam). Some weeks later the 4 arrived for their first fateful practise. Ryan could play 2 notes and Sam knew nothing. But then something happened....they got DRUNK! MCN was formed! The band contined to practise and (most importantly) drink! Their musical skills became no better but the consumption of alcohol helped fuel the sick and twisted imaginations (see "Rabbits in the Closet") on which their songs were to be based. Finally! At last they come to play a gig - JAMFEST - they didn't headline it [but they should have!!] with storming covers and a flurry of their own material. The band left their first gig on a high, but something terrible was about to happen... Ryan became critically ill forcing him to question his beliefs and his life goals. Luckily he got better and survived. But to this day he still bears the scars of that terrible terrible dark period. Just as all seemed well for the members of the band. The guitarist (Dave) disappeared. With no clue of his wearabouts left behind him the band was forced to look for others to fill the empty void left within the band. A succession of guitarists followed including Matthew Rohman and Matthew Beck, and an EP was released called "Surrounded by Evil". Shortly after this Dave was found wandering through some woods somewhere up in northern England, he was in bad shape but the band demanded he returned immediately to play gigs and write songs. Soon enough, the band were back on track. MCN are now close to completing a self titled album and are playing gigs regulary in and around Cardiff. Latest MCN happening include the launch of their website which is lightyears ahead of anything else seen before on the internet and the early discussions of merchandise. Will people buy their crap? Will the new album suck or rock?! Who knows what the future holds for these sick twisted wankers.... THE END
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We mainly play at venues in Cardiff (our lovely home town)at the moment. We've travelled to a few other places including Newport and Merthyr but that's about it. We're currently approaching promoters throughout Wales and the rest of the UK in an attempt to get gigs elsewhere.
Your musical influences
we all have different influences, which range between Bad Religion, Pearl Jam, Jehst, The Misfits and even Blink 182 (Nurse wants to have Travis's babies).
