Tactus A is a 3-piece experimental/math metal outfit featuring guitarist Jory Griffin, bassist David Kersh and vocalist Raayl. The project started in early 2008 as an instrumental studio experiment between David and Jory, which quickly expanded with the addition of Raayl, a solo-artist and industrial vocalist. Tactus A, through juxtaposing lyrical surrealism, harsh, terror/EBM vocal stylings and progressive, math metal inspired songwriting, creates something ambitious and conceptual that is matched in scope only by the determination of each the band members. The Music: Lyrically dense arrangements laced with diverse and passionate vocal performances, backed by complex, polyrhythmic and highly dynamic/conceptual instrumentals. Our goal is to spread, like a virus through the soul.
