Ready 2 Dance Ready 2 Dance
A mood setter track. Ready 2 Dance is a travel package to elsewhere other than your comfort zone and bring the dance there.
Time 2 Time 2
A trancey song I made by writing a poem. The original had vocals embedded into it, sung in a poetic manner. This is a quasi-instrumental version of it. 140 BPM.

revivalDJ may be new to the internet music scene but he is no stranger to mixing under budget-constrained situations.
In fact, the first mix he did was using multiple Sound Recorder programs on the PC. That mix unfortunately, never made it out onto a CD, and the PC had to be dumped.
Presently, revivalDJ has his own computer and 2.1 speaker system, as a make-shift studio. His style utilises everything within his reach and turns mundane sounds into a dancy tune or a dramatic mood setter.
revivalDJ has no label at the moment and no commitments at the moment, but he will soon launch off with a CD to give the public something to delve into.Band/artist history
2000 - Artists of ClassicPeace - ShadowSpeaks - "Savage Waters"
2008 - revivalDJ (aka djasakurayoh) - Audition Dance Battle Online remixes (ad-hoc project) - "Euro 2005" mixes
2008 - revivalDJ (aka djasakurayoh) - "Acid 7", "Time", "Time 2" & "Ready 2 Dance"Have you performed in front of an audience? No. That's one area I'm heavily constrained budget-wise. But I would like to get the music out physically and really set the bar for budding electronic musicians like myself.
I put up music on sites like this and imeem for opinions and rating.
Your musical influences
I had Liam Howlett (The Prodigy) when I was younger, then it was DJ Tiesto (who played in Gouryella), Fatboy Slim a little later, some alternative like Blur and Space and The Prodigy. After that, it really were movie soundtracks and theatre plays with multimedia. I think about music visually while designing a piece. Yeah, I design my music! What equipment do you use?
My PC and my speakers, and my blessed mind. Okay, I do use a demo software at the moment called Fruity Loops Studio 8 (Image Line), and tweak around a bit with Audacity (SoundForge). I also have experimented with Rebirth 338 (Propellerheads).Anything else?
Poetry? Just maybe. I write as I come to it.
And sometimes, it helps me in making those works come out the way I want it, even with very little to work with.Contact
