It Starts Here . . .
It was a perfect day outside, gentle breeze, 79 degrees, not too many bugs and the sun felt good on my skin. I sat on some rocks in the middle of the river and let the sounds wash my thoughts away. I realized after some time that the stones in the river summed it all up. I reached down and held the rock in my hand and knew it was the ultimate, it was older than anything else around and it was simple and content and just went where the river went, forever, since the beginning.
My beginning starts in a naturalists dream of Roanoke, Virginia. I was as bored as anyone and enjoyed music, I received a guitar and amp from my dear friend Charlie and let it sit in the corner for about 2 months, until I decided to make feedback. That was the beginning, soon after I had bought a boss sp 202 sampler to fill my fantasy of making something out of the imaculate sounds I hear everyday.
This eventually lead to rocking with Charlie and Suzanne to eventually become The 63 Crayons and with j ward and brother sam to become The Riders of the Mark. Great times and wisdom were gained over the next few years through the meditation of music. Free music, music of the soul, and enjoying it for the surprises it has in-store.
Those times lead to even more great times by finally leaving (my biggest goal) Virginia to pursue music out of state..to Georgia. Over the last four years I have lived a rock dream, meeting and playing shows with some of my heroes who inspired me to make music.
Now my own quest is exactly that, my own and I now follow it to where it may roam...here is my past present and future.Contact
