Tronante, Argenis Joel Raphaela, was born on the 30th of January 1984, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Ever since he was he little baby he was singing and his parents used to take him everywhere to show his singing talent. At the age of ten he moved to Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles, where he continued rapping. During his schoolyears you could often find Tronante in the hallway because his teacher send him there. Tronante was always rapping during the classes which resulted in him getting send out of class. Tronante got his first change to perform on stage at a Regatta at the age of thirteen and he loved it. Whenever you saw Tronante, you would hear his walkman playing. At age seventeen he moved to Holland. He put his focus on developing his musical talent further and started writing his own lyrics. In 2001 MBE (Mario Boye) and La Sombra () approached Tronante and asked him to join them to form a group they named AGM. A couple of months later members Ruby and LD joined and the group LOS FANTASMAS was born.
Supremo (a.ka. Sombra), Gregory Yuriel Thielman, was born on the 31st of January 1986 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He moved to Bonaire when he was 3 years old. Supremo has always been very creative. Music has always been a part of his life. Since he was little he always had an interest in music, but music was not his only passion. He loved to draw. His drawings were symbolic and he always drew dragons, he got in trouble at school for drawing dragons in the toilets and it was easy to point him out since he was the only one who drew them. Growing up he began to discover his talents for music and started writing lyrics. In 2000 he moved to Holland, his interest for music grew bigger and he started writing and playing with music programs like fruity loops, short after Supremo and Mbe started AGM and invited Tronante to join. Supremo has grown much since, he is now a professional producer with a unique style of making music. Supremo has made lots of beats for Los Fantasmas and there are still many more to come.
MBE, Mario Edgardo Boye, was born on the first of February 1980 Willemstad, Curacao. Born in a musical family his introduction to music started early in live. At the age of five he moved to Holland. When he was fifteen he started to mix tracks which he had on his walkman. Soon he wanted to make his own music and with a little help from Audio Station the first rhythms started to come out of the speakers. From the age of eighteen MBE writes his own lyrics. In 1997 MBE formed the group Rhyme Kartel with a five of his friends. The group wrote in dutch and one of the tracks made the radio charts. In 2001 he and La Sombra decided they wanted to start something new and approached Tronante to joint hem. They continued on writing and recording under the name AGM. Not soon after that Ruby and LD joined the group and they changed the name to Los Fantasmas.
LD, Wester Phillips Raphaela, was born on the 3rd of October 1987 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. When he was about five years old his interest in music started to grow. When he was young he used to love to listen to Latin-American music. At the age of six he moved to Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles. The school in Bonaire organized a lots of activities for the youth. LD was chosen to rap and sing during festivals even though his focus was not on the music. He used to like watching his older brother Tronante rap en sing with his friends on the streets after school better. In 2001 the family moved to Holland where LD decided to start developing his musical talent. Tronante, LD older brother was rapping and singing in a group called AGM. After he joined they decided to change the name to Los Fantasmas. The group turned out to be a success. Lots of tracks where recorded and performances through Holland followed. In 2006 Los Fantasmas toured through the USA for 3 months in places like Miami, Orlando, Indianapolis, and more.
Ruby, Marlene Gomez, was born on 21st of July 1982 in Kralendijk, Bonaire. Since she was 3 years old she moved to St. Maarten where she grew up. Ruby parents are both Dominicans. Her Dominican roots has always been a part of her. As long as she can remember she has loved music. Growing up she always wrote poems and made songs. She was selected to sing at the school graduation and also in events such as weddings. When she was 12 years old she took part in the Police song festival in St. Maarten and won first place, with the song from Air Supply "All out of love", shortly after she went to Dominican Republic to study music, after completing some basic courses in singing and piano she returned to St. Maarten. In 2004 she moved to Holland where she met Supremo, who after listening to her voice introduced her to Los Fantasmas who adopted her as there first lady.
