Im a Producer for ARD Productions, created by the illest Hip Hop Producer in the UK Stealf!!! go to www.myspace.com/kobiwood
I started off just being interested in music and really wanted to be apart of that type of busy music life but was never able to play a instrument at a high standard so the decision came to get into production work, so I joined a HND Sound Production course which got me working in studios and working with sounds and different genres of music but I was always pulled more towards Hip Hop. I then started to analyse a lot of other producers techniques and I really wanted to be able to make beats, so I managed to get some money together and bought the software Reason and started to play with some sounds this then got me addicted and I wanted to get better and better. So I carried on with my studies at Staffordshire University doing BSc Music Technology and I bought more equipment and started to make my own sounds and also sample sounds, and I then started to analyse the structure of a record. This eventually evolved into something more than just playing with sounds I was beginning to create top quality beats, this is when I started to get serious about moving forward with Producing and managed to get a engineer job in a recording studio which would help me get my name out in the industry, quickly my beats started getting used by artists in the studio and getting noticed around the northwest area. Now i am heading to get known as a well known UK Hip Hop Female Producer
All different people influence me from well established producers and beat makers down to situations that happen around me. when im listening to something on the radio and it really touches me or gets me moving that really motivates me to go make some beats.
