Hello everyone. I am a producer, engineer, writer, and a multi instrumentalist. Here is what some one else has to say about me. Hi this is Justin Royer from the band Bloom, Recording in today’s world is rough! Nobody cares, the industry is corrupt and out to steal away you’re hard earned cash. I know from first hand that when recording your music the feeling from the whole experience can usually take over the smart choices in your mind. In the long run you are mislead through the whole project until the very end, when you turn on your new cd that you’ve worked so hard on putting so much time, money and passion into, too only hear the pure sounds of failure. Well as a musician let me tell you its hard not too get caught up into all the fun, for god sakes that why were musicians! Fear no longer because there is a better way, GARGOYLE RECORDING STUDIOS in conjunction with RPMJ Publishing will set you at ease showing you what a true professional recording studio can provide, produce, and teach you. Paul Wasser manager of Gargoyle Recording Studios, and RPMJ Publishing is a master within his art. He will tell you exactly what you need to do to prepare for recording before you start by setting up an interview to discuss what exactly it is you want. Then after drawling up a plan he will invite you back to begin the project that you wish to experiment with. Paul uses the top quality equipment to capture any sound you need, and perfects everything before you start the real masterpiece that you’re going to unleash. With his experience over the years he knows it all but is open minded to the artist themselves. Recording with Gargoyle is a dream come true to a musician because you can actually worry about your music which what Paul says “75% of recording is the music, once you get that its in the clear” So do your music a favor and give it the treatment it deserves, allow yourself to capture your sound, your feelings, your passion, let the music rock out and let Paul record it the right way!
Band/artist history
MY BACKGROUND: Music has been part of my fiber and fabric for as long as I can remember. I began playing guitar, and organ in the mid-1980s. It started out as a hobby but quickly became a passion. In the late 1980s, I took formal lessons at Dave Phillips Music & Sound, Phillipsburg, NJ. Throughout my teen years, I took private instruction with JIM SLICK OF GANDOLF. By 1987, I began a regimen of intense music theory and classical composition training for one hour a day, five days a week with William Carnnow. We explored the masters of music and their techniques. In 1990, I "graduated" to an intense self-study program of music of from three to 16 hours a day. Still to this day I educate myself every single day, and broaden my horizons. My intense curriculum consisted of music, business/law, producing, writing, modern music, pop, jazz, rock, hip-hop, engineering, publishing and the music industry. I have also attended Berkley online, and taught at NACC. I have amassed nearly two decades of writing, recording, playing, and producing experience. I also track, mix, master and do session work. I have a vast knowledge of music theory and the industry. I am proud to say my background qualifies me as mostly self-educated. I've taken nothing for granted and have learned from the greatest resource known to every man and woman. PEOPLE. I have been in every situation imagineable when recording. I have had the experience of recorded in rooms with air conditioners blasting in the background and inferior equipment to rooms with a noise coefficient of 15 with the world’s best gear.
