Working Venice

Working Venice is about atmosphere and emotion. The music created attempts to capture a specific moment in time, and convey a certain feeling into musical form. It could be an emotional feeling, or a musical portrayal of how clouds look when its about to thunderstorm out. While you may not feel the exact emotion, scenery, or atmosphere, we hope Working Venice will relate to you in one way or another.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Scott Roy originally started in the electronic/techno scene under the name of Tenfly. Then he bought a guitar and realized he can sing, so slowly guitar and vocals started slipping into the techno music until eventually, he began to dabble in solo-accoustic music under the name of Maize Colm. While still working on solo music of 'Maize Colm', while in college, Scott joined an electronic group called Nighthood (http://nighthood.iuma.com) as the lead singer. Progress slowly started slowing down, so Scott created another solo project. Something different than Maize Colm, thus, Working Venice was created. Working Venice is the chillout/mellow/electronic outlet for Scott to work on. While Maize Colm is the accoustic/emotional outlet for accoustic music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Working Venice has yet to play live, and has no plans of doing it any time soon. However, Scott Roy (who is Working Venice) performed with his previous band Nighthood (http://nighthood.iuma.com) and had a great time and received a great responce.
