HMD Productions is the collective of six talented artists coming from a multitude of musical genres such as Hiphop, Soul, Blues, Electronic, and Jazz.
The crew was started in 2006 by the founders LLJB3 (CEO), Epidemic Phaze, and Zerobeat.
Producers Trus Da Kid (Smalls Trax) and JBJR (The Instrumental Architect) were asked to round out the collective, Alex Holtzman became a close affiliate, and Kick Ass Alyssia was added to the crew in 2008.
The first releases from HMD include The Viewtiful Tapes, a collection mixtape EP of the entire talent roster. Coming soon on MySpace and iTunes!

Your musical influences
Our influences would have to be hip-hop, on the lines of Common, J Dilla (RIP), Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco, just to name a few. We also like old school soul and R&B music like Marvin Gaye, The O'Jays, Isley Brothers, and James Brown. We also are gamers at heart so we get influences from videio games that have been out within the past 20 years.What equipment do you use?
