First, I am Daniel Wallen, the band's administrator, mascot, and promoter, and am do not play an instrument in the band... just so you know no one is talking in the third person here.
Vapor is, put simply, an alternative rock band from Kingsport, TN. They don't sound anything like other bands out there, so you will just have to listen for yourself and decide if you like it.Band/artist history
Vapor is an ambient alternative trio from Kingsport, TN. They don't really sound much like any other bands out there, so you'll just have to listen for yourself. It all started in the fall of 2002, when Travis and Andrew, from another band (4 Quaters - now broken up) decided to try out a new project. Andrew dropped the guitar for the drums, and Travis stayed on vocals, and picked up the guitar. They got Steven McGrady from 4 Quaters to provide bass and complete the sound.Have you performed in front of an audience?Vapor has only played a few shows. One that I set up at the Renaissance Center in Kingsport, and another at the Rambis (really nice local venue here). They like playing live and hope to find some other places to play in the future.
