Phi-Roze is a young cat from the city of Albuquerque AKA the Land of Entrapment! Phi as he is called by most homies is doin his own style of hip-hop/rap music...not held back by any industry standards or regulations... Phi-Roze makes music for the people to enjoy and kick back to...Also having a distinct "crunk" type of rap style..Phi isnt scared to put in a full days work in the studio to get the job done right. He lives Hip-Hop He Breathes Hip-Hop so it's natural for da Kid. He's all about persistence and moving others to do big things. He has plans to one day open up JnB Records and produce some of the hottest talent around the southwest and beyond. New to the scene but now 2 years deep and counting... Keep a lookout for this fresh young talent straight from the burbs of Albuquerque...
Band/artist history
I've been rapping for about 4 years but no real songwriting or studio recording till about 2 years ago. I don't have much history to tell. but I'm working on making history with this beautiful thing called music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes I have played about 6 shows now so far. Mainly The compound in New Mex but also opening for Hurricane Chris at a well-known and respected night club called "Club 7." I've even traveled as far as Washington and Portland to do a couple shows. Best moment would have to be in Washington,the first night we played i got let into the "21 and over" section and fans were buying me shots all night.
Your musical influences
Kottonmouth Kings really inspired me to want to rap, the positivity and spreading love to the fans just seems like the best thing in the world to me. Also Bone thugs N Harmony, 2pac, Biggie Smallz, Mac dre, S.P.M, Bizzy Bone, Sub Noize Souljaz, it goes on and on.
