Fresh from the success of his 1st mixtape "Bitch I'm A Star," hosted by Superstar Jay [4 Time Winner Of The Best Mixtape Dj At Justo's Mixtape Awards], BAG$™ returns with the 1st single off of "Bitch I'm A Star2 : The Corporate Takeova," "My Hood". The new single, which features the chart topping artist Flo-Rida, is an ode to hoods everywhere while still being radio ready. BAG$™ is a 23 year old native to South Jamaica Queens. You can hear that on the opening line of the single and throughout the song ("The '08 preme, Southsides king/Did it for the hood, so nigga I am Queens"). While his confident and, at times, cocky lines may have fans mistaking him for arrogant, BAG$™ sees it different. "I'm jus proud of what I've been able to accomplish," says the self-proclaimed Queens King, "I think everybody should be proud of their accomplishments and keep trying to move forward."
While wrapping up "Bitch I'm A Star2," BAG$™ has been hard at work accumulating radio spins and club spins. Internet stations such as FJS Radio, DTFRadio.com, and TakeOva Radio have made sure to support the single and BAG$™ has even been interviewed on DtF Radio's TakeOva Tuesday show. Club Djs such as L Boogs (Mtv3/Heavy Hitters), Dj FatFingaz (12" Cartel), Dj Unique (12" Cartel), Dj Spanky (95.7fm), Kool Kid, and Dj Abrupt have all been spinning the record at venues throughout New York City. His Promotional "B!TH I'M A ST☆R™" shirts have also taken off to help promote his mixtape.
With a work ethic being compared to Lil Wayne and the mind frame of a boss, BAG$™ will be a household name in no time.
