"They were cuttin songs with a 10 dollar mic.. and a 4 track... makin copies of their work to hustle enough money to buy an 8 track.. or a better mic at that.. but they learned quickly that they didn't need big sticks to start a fire.. so without a studio, or real equipment for that matter, they brought fire.. the band makes the equipment.. not the other way around.. they are still on the grind for better eqiupment for a better sound, but for now they are just rappers.. doing what they do best. "I'm not worried about mic quality or nothing like that. The quality is in the shit we say, the shit we do.. We just speak our mind. Give me a stage, shit even a living room with real people to vibe to our sound.. That's my studio. Everything else will take care of itself." says Soos, who is the youngest in the group. The young talent brings unmatched metaphors and twisted wordplay to his lyrics.. a true lyricist.. Soos forces the audience to interpret/unscramble his words. Preach (Oxnard, CA) comes with fire.. spittin fast, slow.. a diverse storyteller who also is responsible for some insane hooks. "I mean what we do is simple you know? Niggas be trippin' like we are trying so hard to be different from everybody else. That ain't the case. Every line you get is ill, and every word you hear is real. Simple as that.. And then we do what we do in the lab. What you hear is me, Soos, and Fly.. It's us. It's BMP. We just do us and we're real" says Preach when asked about BMP changing the hip hop industry. Fly (from St. Petersburg, FL) is as real as they come.. bringin street cred, rediculous flow to the table, and reppin' that down south. "I feel like what we're doin' as artists, you know, the message that we send with every song, is just out this fuckin' world.. I mean, you got to hear what I'm sayin. You got to really open up your fuckin' ears and hear what Soos and Preach are sayin'. Cuz you may be hearin' our shit, but we make y'all muhfuckas really listen. Know what I'm talkin' about?
