Hip Hop General

Yotti Da Lyrical was born August 20 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lyric started writing music at the age 13. He was always inspired by watching the television, and seeing rappers in videos, and said, "One day that is going to be me." During the year of 2003 Lyrical was in New Orleans writing music and passing out his mixtape around school trying to see what people think about him, he was always trying to get hisself heard. So when people started giving him back positive remarks he really got interested into the music game. He started recording more music and kept saying he was going to be the one who change the rap game in his own way for his fans, and etc. During the year of 2005 he was stuck by a very harsh tragedy. It was known all over the world as Hurricane Katrina. After the storm he was really motivated to make music and try get by because he lost everything in the storm living in the Ninth Ward Downtown New Orleans. Lyrical was relocated first to Oakdale, La moving from shelter to shelter all he can do was do what his heart was into and that was music at the time, being. He started singing a little, but he was really into rapping. After moving to Oakdale, La, he relocated to Atlanta, Ga for a couple of months living in a hotel writing more and more music all he can could was write listening to beatz, and wishing he could do something to help support his family. After moving from Atlanta he was living in Austin, Tx where the music thing really got serious to him. By living in Austin, Tx he didn't go outside as much as he used to because their was always trouble, so many of days he stayed inside writing music where he record his first song "I'm Hot" which was a hit in the school he was going too. He stood in music because in Texas he didn't want to get caught into gangs, and trouble. He was attending Manor High School where he started listening to other rapper rapping outside in the courtyard. So he thought that was the perfect time for him to get known in the school and make a name for himself. So when he rapped he did what he said he was going to do and that was make a name for himself. Lyrical then started battling people around the school, and didnt' have any defeats, but he only really had one rival, and they went at it everytime they saw each other. Then, Lyrical had another tragedy where his mother was going through congestive heart failure, and she was pregnant at the time, and she lost her daughter, Miracle Danielle Williams. When these to crisis hit him he record a song called, "Chance to kiss You (In Memory)" which was a song in memory of his baby sister. By his mother and grandmother not being able to work he decided to do something that was going to get them by. Lyrical move to Baton Rouge, La when he was 16. In Baton Rouge, he was watching a LL Cool J documentary interview where he saw when LL was going to stores, and looking in the back of albums, and write the addresses of entertaining companies. The next day he went did the same thing, and is currently in the process of recording demos, and sending them to those companies, and hopefully one or couple of them will hear him, and decide to make him the person he wants to be which is in Lil Wayne's words one of the "Best Rappers Alive". He is currently writing in recording right now in the process so be looking for some new hits from him soon.
