Grow Your Grass Greener Grow Your Grass Greener
ORGAN BLUES hail from Philadelphias Fishtown neighborhood with a rusty, jagged-edged indie-rock style. Their debut EP, The Tank, is full of panicked, reverberating guitar riffs and gritty, menacing vocals over a pummeling barrage of drumbeats. When asked for influences, the trio cant help but give a nod to bands like Sonic Youth, Pavement, and Iggy and the Stooges.
Band/artist history
The band stumbled into existence when guitarists/vocalists John Bueno and Gavin Feo moved to Philadelphia in the summer of 2006 and started recording rough tracks together. As the sound grew and evolved into something more promising, they imported drummer John Mal from Florida to complete their new undertaking, Organ Blues.
