My name is Andy Mills, I am a solo acoustic guitar player, singer/songwriter. I write about the day-to-day and I love it.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yeah I play live. My guitar once failed to work and I had to run out of the venue to the shop to get another battery for the pre amp on the guitar., by the time I got back I was too out of breath to sing. It wasnt the battery in the end and I ended up playing the whole night on my electric. Went down really well though. The other night I had a sore throat and a bad cold. I was just on edge concentrating like hell making sure I didnt make any crazy noises while singing. Got though and it was free drinks for me. Good feedback and understanding that I had "the man flu". Its all good fun.
Your musical influences
I like the most upbeat bouncy music a band can create, then I like the most downbeat, simple, man-playing-an-acoustic-on-his-own-in-the-dark music you can imagine. It changes whenever it wants. The same goes for what I play/write.
