Since waking up Saturday mornings to Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers, and countless other renowned recording artist, Sean A.K.A Ruhgali knew that music would be a significant part of his life. Ruhgali was born in Saginaw, Michigan and raised on the eastside in a small 3 bedroom home by both his parents along with his older sister Tiffany. Aware of the distractions encountered by his neighboring peers, his parents sent him on the other side of the tracks to Carrollton to attain a better education. Here he would learn the ability to interact with people from all different backgrounds, classes, and cultures. Not knowing that these social attributes would be valuable later in life, he got along with many but kept his social circle dimunitive. After relocating to "the other side," observing his parents divorce, and suffering the loss of his grandfather (RIP), Ruhgali turned to alcohol and drugs to suppress the anguish. This would lead him to an expulsion from school, bouts with the law, and a long term battle with addiction. Somehow he wound up in South Haven, MI where he finished high school and went on to attend college at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. His love for the night-life, women, and hatred of being broke, resulted in his dismissal from the campus and back to the treacherous streets of Saginaw. Following a brief stay at home, he packed up and moved to the Baltimore/DC area. Captivated by the big city lights and the endless opportunities, he soon found himself being swallowed by the voracious streets of Charm City. Living in a known drug hot spot, Ruhgali's entreprenurial attitude drove him down an avenue that he now regrets. Around that same time is when he began sequencing and arranging tracks with the MTV Music Generator on Playstation. While he gradually purchased equipment and perfected his beat making, he noticed that putting his thoughts and experiences on those same tracks was therapeutic. Now, after years of hard work and dedication, Ruhgali (formerly known as Murq) owns a Pro-Tools based studio in his hometown of Saginaw. He continues to produce and arrange a majority of his material with the 24-bit sequencer software Reason. Along with his life-long friend Torrey Fairris a.k.a. Feezy, to some of you suckas Craigstyles. they founded Tru 2 U Music Group, a local independent record company. With his prominent voice, catchy hooks, life experiences, and his overall knowledge of music, he is surely one of the few that will be around for years to COME
